Polyglucose is a water-soluble dietary fiber with the chemical formula (C6H10O5) n. It is a white or almost white solid particle that is easily soluble in water, with a solubility of 70%. The pH value of a 10% aqueous solution is 2.5-7.0, and there is no special taste. It is a food component with health functions that can supplement the water-soluble dietary fiber needed by the human body. After entering the human digestive system, special physiological metabolic functions are produced to prevent constipation and fat deposition.

 

It is widely use in many fields like the following:

 

1. Regulating lipid metabolism: Polyglucose can form a membrane in the small intestine and wrap around some food fat, effectively limiting the absorption of fat in the digestive tract, promoting the excretion of lipid compounds, increasing satiety, reducing food intake, and achieving the effects of regulating blood lipids, reducing fat accumulation, and preventing obesity.

2.
